.. Overview In a remote village in North India, a college student, Aisha Verma (Shraddha Kapoor), is preparing to leave the village for college. During this time, she tells her husband, Guru Divekar (Sidharth Malhotra), that she wants to study medicine. He does not support this idea. She talks to a couple of friends (Kunj Bhasin and Saurabh Shukla) and they try to help her get into the college by sharing their experiences with medicine and trying to get her an interview. Her in-laws are also opposed to this idea and after talking to their parents, Guru and Aisha visit her father (Ajay Devgn) and convince him to let her go. During this time, Guru starts liking Aisha's friend, Rekha (Ileana D'Cruz). The film focuses on Aisha's story and her life in college. Rekha is also a college student and they both end up liking each other. Things get further complicated when Guru comes to know about their relationship and threatens to leave his wife if she continues with this relationship. The movie also focuses on a few other stories which include the daughter of a gynecologist (Sadhana Singh) whose parents are not allowing her to go for college. She ends up being a part of the college and plays basketball. Another character is the son of a vegetable seller (Bobby Deol) who likes a singer (Sachin Khedekar). When he later becomes a part of college, he is unable to perform well due to financial problems. He ends up leaving college. The film shows the love-hate relationship between a girl and her in-laws. The characters are well developed and the film ends on a positive note. Plot The movie starts with Aisha Verma (Shraddha Kapoor) attending the college along with her friend Rekha (Ileana D'Cruz). Guru Divekar (Sidharth Malhotra) is a college student who goes with his friend (Kunj Bhasin) to prepare for the medical entrance examination.
